Ukraine Just Sent a Message After Russia’s Massive Strike

Following devastating attacks on Kyiv that killed civilians and triggered rescue operations lasting more than a day, Ukraine reportedly launched a sweeping wave of long-range drone strikes targeting infrastructure and military assets deep inside Russian territory. One of the most dramatic scenes emerged from the Ryazan oil refinery, where a catastrophic fire reportedly broke out after the strike, with residents describing “oil rain” falling over parts of the city. Reports also suggest additional targets included air defense systems, aviation assets, and logistical infrastructure. Meanwhile, new imagery from Russian airbases appears to show helicopters stripped down and hidden beneath anti-drone netting — a visible sign that long-range Ukrainian drone warfare is forcing Russia into increasingly reactive defensive measures.
