Putin’s Answer Raises More Questions Than Answers

Zelensky published an open letter calling for a direct meeting with Putin and arguing that the war is Putin's personal choice, not a product of NATO, language, or geopolitics. Russia's response moved through Peskov's claim that Zelensky could come to Moscow, TASS collecting dismissive reactions that called the letter a PR stunt or a plea for peace, and Putin saying he saw no point in meeting unless there were agreements with a long-term historical perspective.
